The food is good and the service is excellent for a city where the service industry has typically gone down hill. Most menu choices are a little pricey and I would like to see them lowered a bit.

My wife and I have been going to Dairy Lane almost every weekend since Shayne and Jodi took it over. We've had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and the service and the food are excellent.

This is a great place that I love to go to for the food, service, atmosphere and to support a small local business. What could be a better combination? The menu is varied and includes a number of vegetarian options, although if you are a meat eater, you can add meat to your order. Since these new owners have taken it over (maybe 2 years ago now, 2005?) I have never been disappointed there. I keep bringing friends there to introduce them and spread the word.

The fact that most visitors to the place are regulars says a lot. The owners and staff are second to none, anywhere! They know most customers by name and much about thier lives and always ask about important issues. The chef has a broad range of absolutely wonderful choices. The best time to visit is during the work week as the place is full to the rafters on the weekends, always, regardless of the weather. People will line up outside in a blizzard. I've done it several times. It's worth it for the food and the visit.

Excellent little cafe. Try the french toast stuffed with cream cheese and fresh berries for breakfast. Beautifully renovated since the old days. Under new ownership in the last year or so.
